As early childhood educators, we understand that we play a critical role in preparing our children for school and a lifelong love of learning. However, social skills and a caring heart are just as important to us as learning to spell their name. That’s why, through our community commitments, we aim to enhance opportunities for young children and their families to help others. Throughout the year, we provide volunteer and financial contributions to nonprofit organizations as well as help raise awareness so that we can make a difference in our community.

Some of our charitable contributions and volunteer work have gone to:

  • Leukemia and Lymphoma Society: Pennies for Patients
  • St. Jude’s Research Hospital: Trike-a-Thon
  • Shepard’s Gate
  • Toys for Tots
  • Livermore Little League
  • Granada High School Career Fair
  • Alameda County Food Bank
  • 4C’s Health and Nutrition Program
  • Cards for Safyre
  • Birthday Cards for Danny
  • American Veteran’s Association

We have also incorporated a “Random Act of Kindness” tree that encourages children to care for one another. Children are rewarded with a leaf on our tree to display the kindness they showed and for thinking about others. Together, we can show our children that it is possible to make a difference in our community.
